Tranquility

Catching the last light of day always makes my heart sing. One summer evening, while walking home from town, I glimpsed the sun beginning its final bow over the horizon. Running as fast as I could to the dam to breathe in those last fleeting moments, a graceful dance of colors filled the sky reflecting across the water. A tranquil and serene spell fell upon me as day surrendered to night. This painting captures the essence of that magical evening inspired by several photos taken.
