My Hiding Place, Almost Dusk

"My Hiding Place, Almost Dusk" is inspired by a serene and special place my granddaughter likes to go in the evening along the bay. I especially wanted the painting to capture the transition of day to night, with the deep blue hues of the impasto grasses and textures enveloping the scene, creating an interplay of the light and shadows of dusk as it settles in.
