Split Pea Soup Pond and Ducks

I always take a morning run and there's a pond near my neighborhood that is full of the thickest, yet brightest green algae, and swarming with Ducks! If I get too close they all fly off or swim quickly in circles, unsure about what direction they should be paddling.
