“My painting captures the delicate beauty of hibiscus flowers in full bloom, their petals unfurling in a radiant display of color. The warm tones of cream, gold, and fiery red create a striking contrast against the deep greens of the background, allowing the flowers to glow with an almost luminous quality.
Using expressive brushwork, I aimed to convey movement, as if a gentle breeze is rustling through the petals and leaves. Light and shadow play across the composition, adding depth and a sense of realism while maintaining an impressionistic softness. The rich textures and blended hues bring the flowers to life, celebrating the vibrancy and fleeting nature of their beauty. Through this piece, I wanted to evoke warmth, energy, and the timeless elegance of nature’s artistry.”
