I used watercolor on paper. This photo was taken by me during participation at Fabriano Watercolor Festival in Italy. It is an Egyptian Mummy Style Door Knocker made in Antique iron of an old house door in Fabriano. You can easily see the interaction between the Egyptian and Roman Empire on the door knockers in most villages of Italy.
Due to my passion of Archeology ,I focus on themes where memories , stories and experiences of different lives existed in the past.Every texture and color of the object inspires me while creating my art.To express the historical spirit in my works , I love using the colors Sepia and Burnt Sienna .In order to define the antique iron I added cold pigments .
While creating my art, each brush stroke leads me to that certain era and evokes me the mystical spirit in my body .
