This is a studio painting from sketches and digital images at Peggy's Cove, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I did a number of sketches here in poor weather and then one day the sun came out and I used the best sketch I had and the value and color on the bright sunny day to paint this scene in my studio.
