Just Beachy

I painted this scene in Monterey Bay, California. It was my first day of painting in the area along with nearly 100 other artists from all over, attending Fall Color Week, a week-long painting get-together hosted by Plein Air Magazine. This was my first time painting the ocean, and I fell in love with all of it - the beach, the waves, the sounds, and the great friends I made during our week of painting the California coast.
