Was this a spectacular sunset? No. But this sunset was beautiful because of its simplicity. You can feel the warmth and tranquility in the painting because of the warmth of the colors. Painted en plein air.

I paint landscapes en plein air. My paintings are interpretations of the atmosphere I experience when painting in nature. As a landscape painter, I am fascinated by light and color in nature. Through painting, I want to invite others to take a moment to contemplate the landscape, to look with new eyes at the things that are around us every day. My style is impressionistic and work wet in wet with oil paint.
