Cloud heaven

This was cloud heaven! So many beautiful clouds, perfect light. After I finished this painting I stayed to watch the sunset. Really peaceful painting session on the beach!

I paint landscapes en plein air. My paintings are interpretations of the atmosphere I experience when painting in nature. As a landscape painter, I am fascinated by light and color in nature. Through painting, I want to invite others to take a moment to contemplate the landscape, to look with new eyes at the things that are around us every day. My style is impressionistic and work wet in wet with oil paint.
