Autumn Embrace

I painted this on our yearly trip to the Sierras during the fall when the Aspens are at their peak of color. The golden aspens glow in the crisp mountain air, their leaves shimmering like sunlight caught in motion. To me, it is like walking into a fairyland. The winding path through the grove caught my attention because it welcomes the viewer into quiet reflection. In the heart of the Sierras, "Autumn’s Embrace" signals a sense of warmth and transition from fall to winter.
