The Great Blue

During a morning walk by the river, I encountered a Great Blue Heron who became my unexpected muse. Standing proudly in the rising mist, the majestic bird held its pose as if inviting me to capture its elegance. Through multiple layers of acrylic on canvas, I worked to convey not just the heron's striking presence, but also the ethereal quality of that peaceful moment when nature allowed me to share in its quiet splendor.
