Humble rocks in water

I was out painting en plein air at Paradísarlaut near Bifröst (in Iceland). This small area is so beautiful - I mean Paradísarlaut literally translates as paradise dell or valley! I was overwhelmed with what to paint but in the end, I was just drawn to something very simple - I just really liked how the light was hitting these rocks in the water, so that’s what I focused on!
