Around the countryside you will sometimes stumble upon these cute little cabins used by the scouts here in Iceland. This painting is of a beloved cabin in the hillside in Krysuvik which I couldn´t resist painting. I love these little man-made posts nestled within the midst of the wild Icelandic landscape - a mark of memories held by those who venture out to experience the beauty and joy of nature.
