Painted plein air on a ranch near Winters , Initially I was intrigued by the shadows , light and arrangement of the school desk with bucket but then I noticed the pair of workmans boots sitting on a shelf at the top of the door , later I spoke to farm work who explained that up there they were out of reach of the local wild turkeys and the rain.
